Enock Maregesi is a Tanzanian author and winner of the Mabati-Cornell Kiswahili Prize for African Literature. His novel, KOLONIA SANTITA, was recognized for its excellent writing in African languages and its encouragement of translation from, between, and into African languages. In 2020, he was nominated for the Tällberg/Eliasson Global Leadership Prize and continues to live in Tanzania.
